the “safe @ home” collection

This current art expresses my reaction to finding a safe place to hunker down during the pandemic. The “safe@home” series has been very meditative — I find peace in repetition and it calmly swallows up hours in my studio. The lines blur between the different materials I use; the paper becomes paint and the paint blends into the metal, all creating a cohesive image that is quiet yet thoughtful, while still up-lifting.
